Locations of Labradorite

Labradorite is a beautiful gemstone that contains a beautiful play of colors from deep blue nuances to green, which is also called labradorization. Once polished into beautiful labradorite beads, these colors come into their own even better and are a beautiful eye-catcher as a piece of jewelry.

Depending on the location, there is also Madagascar labradorite, which is almost translucent and pale / gray in color.

The gold labradorite beads have a transparent shine with a beautiful play of colors from white to golden yellow.

The dark labradorite beads, also called spectrolite, with their dark blue play of colors are mainly found in Finland. Other sites are the United States, Russia, Mexico and Australia.

Labradorite beads: how it works

What is said about the functioning of this type of stone.

The beads are known for their soft, nurturing and calming effect and are also called the 'stone of tranquility'. It protects the energy field against negative influences, gives self-confidence and is worn on the body. The gold labradorite has an extra dimension, namely; connection with a higher level of consciousness. For spiritual cleansing, the advice is to keep the beads under cold running water for at least 5 minutes.

The Labradorite zodiac sign is Leo, Scorpio and Sagittarius.

The hardness is on the scale of 1 to 10: 6 to 6.5 with a density of 2.69.

Personal note

From the very beginning I came into contact with this beautiful stone (but now also for employees of Ilona's Webgems because my preference is very contagious :-)): " Labradorite is my personal favorite for a reason".

Have fun!
